Oh, ebay, if it weren't for you how would people even have the opportunity to get rid of the crazy things they build? This is a custom-built 2009 wooden car that is billed as "very rare" and was supposedly built by a furniture builder / car enthusiast. Oh, and get this: it's located in Hickory, North Carolina.
Powered by a Chrysler 318 and driven by an automatic transmission, the car has just over 1,800 miles on it. Its body is made of cedar, it rides on a 1986 Toyota truck frame, and the interior is just as over-the-top as the exterior. Check it out for yourself.
Anyone interested should go ahead and put a bid out there (currently at $4,450, reserve not met). Who knows, maybe the future owner and that guy from the Ukraine who built this contraption could start some kind of club.
No word on how fast it is, but let's just say owners better have some wood screws under the seat, just in case.
